In The Community
As a company focused on ‘kindness’ in our day-to-day endeavours, we aim to do our bit in the community by supporting individuals, organisations, communities and charities that share and believe in the same value.

WildAid
Brainbox is a proud supporter of Wildaid’s elephant program. The illegal wildlife trade is a multi-billion dollar global industry largely driven by consumer demand in expanding economies. While most wildlife conservation groups focus on scientific studies and anti-poaching efforts, WildAid works to reduce global consumption of wildlife products and to increase local support for conservation efforts. Wildaid also works with governments and partners to protect fragile marine reserves from illegal fishing and shark finning, to enhance public and political will for anti-poaching efforts, and to reduce climate change impacts. This is consistent with the Brainbox core value of ‘kindness’ and also with our corporate philosophy of helping people unlock their potential to be the best versions of themselves.

Avon Descent
Brainbox is a proud sponsor of the Avon Descent Applied Education team. In the years since the Avon Descent was first held in 1973 with just 49 competitors, over 35,000 people have competed in the event, from novices and families to World Champions and Olympic competitors. The two day course starts with a 52 kilometre stretch beginning at the Town of Northam, 100 kilometres east of Perth. The course proceeds downriver through the town of Toodyay into the upper reaches of the Darling Range escarpment. The rush of the valley leaves competitors with the marathon 30-kilometre, flat water sprint to Bayswater. While the victorious burst their way over the finish line, many achievers are happy just to finish. This sponsorship is consistent with Brainbox’s desire to recognise excellence and our corporate philosophy of helping people unlock their potential to be the best versions of themselves.

Ellenbrook Dockers Junior Football Club
Brainbox is a proud sponsor of Ellenbrook Dockers Junior Football Club. The Ellenbrook Dockers Junior Football Club was established in 1998 and has grown over 23 years to become one of the largest Junior Sporting Clubs in Metropolitan Perth. The club runs programs for both boys and girls from pre-primary (Auskick) through to year 11/12 and is comprised of over 650 players and over 100 volunteers, both committee and coaching staff, without whom the club would be unable to function. The club works alongside the WAFC to ensure that where possible, all boys and girls have access to play Junior Football and gain the social, discipline and life skills that are derived from being an active member of a junior sporting team. This sponsorship is consistent with Brainbox’s desire to foster tomorrow’s leaders and our corporate philosophy of helping people unlock their potential to be the best versions of themselves.

Kiva
Brainbox is a proud supporter of the Kiva Microfinance program. More than 1.7 billion people around the world are unbanked and can’t access the financial services they need. Kiva is an international nonprofit, founded in 2005 in San Francisco, with a mission to expand financial access to help underserved communities thrive. Kiva does this by crowdfunding loans and unlocking capital for the under-served, improving the quality and cost of financial services, and addressing the underlying barriers to financial access around the world. Through Kiva’s work, students can pay for tuition, women can start businesses, farmers are able to invest in equipment and families can afford needed emergency care. This is consistent with the Brainbox core value of ‘kindness’ and also with our corporate philosophy of helping people unlock their potential to be the best versions of themselves.
